This policy explains what Grad School Era collects, why, and the choices you have.

What we collect

Account information: when you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture from Google. We never see or store your Google password.
What you enter: programs, deadlines, tasks, notes, your profile details and your theme.
Subscription status: whether you have Era Pro, and your Stripe customer and subscription IDs. Payments are processed by Stripe. We never receive or store your full card number.
Basic technical data: our hosting and database providers keep standard logs (such as IP address and browser type) to run and secure the Service.

How we use it

To run your account and show your data back to you.
To process your subscription and handle billing questions.
To send service emails, such as reminder emails if you turn them on.
To keep the Service secure and fix problems.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Who we share it with

Only the providers that run the Service for us: Cloudflare (hosting and database), Google (sign-in), and Stripe (payments). They process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy terms. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

AI apps you connect: if you choose to connect an AI app such as ChatGPT or Claude to your account, that app can read your programs, tasks and Lab Hunt data, and make the changes you ask it to, until you disconnect it in Plan & settings. What the AI app does with that information is covered by its own terms and privacy policy. We never connect an AI app without your approval, and it never sees your payment details.

How long we keep it

We keep your data while your account is open. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete your account and app data within 30 days. Stripe keeps payment records as required for tax and accounting.

Your choices

You can edit or remove your programs and tasks at any time in the app.
You can delete your account and all its data anytime under Plan & settings → Delete account.
To get a copy of your data, email the support email shown in the app.

Security

Data is sent over encrypted connections, and database rules make sure each account can only read its own data.

Age

The Service is not for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If we change this policy in a significant way, we will tell you in the app or by email.
